Working out as a couple is something we never thought we’d do. Not only have we discovered something we bond over, but we push each other during the workouts. It creates a healthy competition between us and pushes both of us to limits we didn’t know we had.

Working out together is probably one of best things you can do to keep a healthy relationship. We have our gym “dates” where we get to see each other push our body to the limits. It’s gratifying to see your partner down on the ground sweating and knowing they did their best! We hold each other accountable , push and cheer on every week. But we also like to compete against each other,which makes it even more fun and interesting. CrossFit at FRSC is a great way for couples to bond and stay fit together!

A lot people are shocked to find out that we have five kids and we both manage to consistently go to the gym. It’s worth it for us because we get so much out of it as a family. My wife and I have another thing we share to stay connected, we make more mutual friends, we stay healthy, and we model healthy living for our kids.
